With newly confirmed cases dwindling in the single digits but lockdown measures still in place, Hong Kongers are looking to nature as their new source of entertainment.⁣

⁣Having only 25% of developed land area, the city’s unique geography offers a wealth of natural sites and outdoor activities. As bars, gyms and karaoke parlours still closed, popular outdoor destinations such as Stanley and Sai Kung are seeing an uptick in business. Certain restaurants in these areas have even reported an increase in customers of up to 30% compared to pre-outbreak times.⁣

⁣Since the lockdown started and intense travel bans followed, people are now looking for different ways to have IRL interactions in their own countries. Given this increase in local appreciation, brands have an opportunity to provide more Geotailored experiences to cater this shift for more localised activities. ⁣
